  Good size room and central location

  Liked: Good size hotel room not too far from the centre. Parking on site with cost payable to the hotel

  A reliable Moxy stay with a great location and friendly staff

  Liked: Great location, friendly staff and the consistent quality I’ve come to expect from Moxy. You know what you’re getting, and it delivers! Our room had a lovely view, the daily housekeeping was good, and overall we really enjoyed our stay.

  Disliked: The breakfast was quite disappointing for the extra price. This is a matter of personal preference, as I’m used to a more substantial savoury breakfast, and I understand that French breakfasts tend to be lighter. There was a good selection of bread, croissants, pastry, jams and spreads, some cold cuts and cheeses, yoghurt and granola, but very little that I could eat and feel properly full. The texture of the scrambled eggs was honestly quite unpleasant. If you prefer a substantial savoury breakfast as I do, I’d recommend eating elsewhere. I also missed having a 'do not disturb / please tidy my room' door sign. It’s a minor inconvenience, but being interrupted by housekeeping when you’re getting dressed is not ideal.

  Liked: It's a hotel in a former college, as far as I can remember. Beautiful early 20th century architecture. I had a blissfully quiet room on the top floor, away from any noise. Metered parking on the street, if you're lucky. In a nice residential area with plenty of restaurants, not too far from the centre of LIlle.
