  Lovely short stay in Lille

  Liked: From the moment we booked our stay at My Little Home, the communication from the owner, Laurent, was exceptional and prompt. He gave us clear instructions on how to enter the property and graciously accommodated our request for an earlier check-in since we arrived in Lille ahead of time. Situated in the charming old district, conveniently near shops, restaurants, cafes, and cultural attractions—a fantastic place for discovering Lille. We took the Eurostar, which was just a short 20-minute walk from the apartment. Nice hot rain shower, as previously mentioned the hand held shower head does not have an attachment but did not bother us.

  Disliked: The built-in fridge door needs some attention. When we entered the building, the dark landing and corridor made it a bit challenging to find the light switch to brighten the area. This information could be included with the key code details.

  A great apartment in a great city

  Cozy and had everything! Great taste of tiny living!

  Liked: the shower was great! the fan was very nice to have because of the unexpected hot weather.The decor.The toaster! A small freezer in frig was nice to have.

  Disliked: Only 2 bath towels and a lot of towel matts. The bar stools were difficult to sit on. Nothing was secured to wall as expected (toilet flush, kitchen cabinets, radiator,tec.) But that was no big problem. The key box can be tricky if not done exactly right.

  Bright spacious studio in the heart of Lille

  Liked: The location was perfect! Just a short walk to everything. The train stations were about 20 min walk. The studio was bright and spacious for a studio. The linens and towels were clean and new and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and a washing machine is always nice.

  Disliked: We liked everything! However, for those who have large luggage or mobility issues- there is 1 flight of stairs to address.

  Great little apartment, well equipped and positioned

  Liked: The location of this lovely little apartment is great, and very clear instructions were given for the entry process on arrival. It felt every safe once inside, and they have provided everything you could need for a short stay. The kitchen was well equipped, the bed was very comfortable and clean, and the shower was hot and strong. The TV and appliances all worked fine, and I was able to cook meals with ease. A very short walk to the main city centre and the train stations too. They left loads of magazines and leaflets around to look at, plus coffee pods for the machine. I had the apartment alone, but two people would also be very comfortable in there as well. It was warm and cosy too, with plenty of power points and lights. Overall, I was very happy.

  Disliked: The only thing I would warn of is the noise from the other apartment users. This is no fault of the accommodation owner, but if you are a light sleeper, you may struggle with the extremely stompy and noisy residents above. They sounded like they were walking around with concrete blocks for shoes! Also, the shower has the option of a rainfall head, or a normal shower head..... but no way to clip the normal shower head to the bar, so you have no choice but to hold it up with one hand. As a woman, I don't want to wash my hair every time I shower so those rainfall heads are actually really annoying! I also found a few pots and plates which had not been washed properly, and still had sauce on the sides.
