  Liked: Central location, complimentary water and coffee

  Disliked: In need of serious refurbishment and renovation. We had to ask them to fix several things in our room (clogged drains, broken drains…), which they promptly did. Doesn’t seem like there’s any regular maintenance. Breakfast is industrial and they quickly run out of food. There is no proper lounge area for families (small space which was always occupied). Does not warrant 4 stars.

  My friend and I enjoyed our short stay and will do so next time we are in the area. the Grimaldi and w

  Liked: The hotel was great! The desk clerk Camelia was a positive helpful person who answered every question and did so in a kind friendly manner. She is a real treasure and an asset at the hotel. The breakfasts were very good.

  Disliked: Nothing to dislike. It will be nice when the buildings across the street are renovated and occupied.

  Comfortable welcoming hotel in a good location

  Liked: Comfortable hotel. Excellent staff. Good and extensive breakfast offerings. Great location just off of Rue Victor Hugo. Several great restaurants and cafes in the immediate proximity.

  Disliked: Breakfast room a bit crowded.

  Extremely friendly comfortable stay

  Liked: The hotel is in an excellent location. The staff are really welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. The bedrooms are oldy woldy authentic but very comfortable.

  Disliked: I think a shower cap or bits in the bathroom would have been nice. I appreciate it is an eco friendly hotel and they do say you don’t have to have your room cleaned every day to save water, but if I’m staying at a 4* hotel as a treat, I do want my room cleaned every day.
