  Bad experience. They need to improve their service

  Liked: Location, and privacity.

  Disliked: Unfortunately a lady was obliged to spend a night outdoors because the hotel didn’t send the codes and cancelled her booking without give her an acceptable explanation, and in a polite way we were obliged to woke up earlier because she started singing during the midnight. The host was not human enough to listen that lady and the police did not come to help because they said that they don’t solve commercial issues. I HATED IT!

  Disliked: We arrived around 11pm and we were not given the code to enter, there was no one at the property and we had to wait one hour in the cold until we got the access. To mention that the phone number they have listed does not exist.

  Very Disappointed

  Disliked: when booking this accommodation I made a mistake and booked it for the Sunday and not the Friday night.. I immediately noticed the mistake and contacted the accommodation through booking.com who said that they would ask the accommodation provider to adjust the booking to the day that we wanted and not charge us for the Sunday. The accommodation provider refused to apply the fee we paid for the Sunday against the Friday booking that I had to make in order to stay in Pau. I appreciate that the accommodation provider state clearly that bookings are not allowed to be changed or refunds provided but this was a genuine mistake that was noticed immediately so they could have been kinder and more ethical in this situation. We feel that we have been robbed by them and they should be be ashamed to be so greedy. With the mistake and the extra night we had to pay these unscrupulous people over €88 for what was a very basic room. The accommodation would have been just about acceptable for €47 for the night but nowhere near good enough for €88 that we ended up paying. Another couple, very nice French people, checked in at the same time and told us that their toilet had no water in it, and it was like a "third world place" so maybe we were lucky after all, at least our toilet did work! We asked several times if an exception could be made for a silly mistake on our part, all without response until after the 4th time, a short not saying "No alterations and no refunds" and no sign of understanding or apology. Sadly another booking.com accommodation provider who is solely interested in taking the money and not providing even a small element of customer service or understanding. I hope that they get the same treatment by a service provider one day, it will be correct karma. We do not recommend this place to anyone.
