The location is excellent. It’s less than a 5-minute walk straight from the train station. There’s a Carrefour supermark

Liked: Location is great; a short walk into the centre of Strasbourg, past plenty of cafes and restaurants. It's also a short walk to the station where you can catch a bus to the European Parliament building, if you want to visit. The rooms overlooking the main street have electric shutters, which act as blackout blinds and the windows are really well soundproofed. There is another Ibis on the road where you park to unload, and they are very used to sending you to the right Ibis!

Disliked: If you are coming by car, access is a bit tricky - you need to park temporarily on a road that has very little parking, as the hotel entrance is a little way down a pedestrianised street. The hotel does have an agreement with a public car park nearby, but make sure they give you the right parking ticket! Rooms were a bit small, but manageable.

Liked: Location is wonderful. Very closed to train station. Special thanks to Mary who was very helpful and friendly.

Disliked: A heads-up: the hotel room ceilings are quite low!. Also, the key card repeatedly failed to work and had to be replaced by the receptionist. Also, when you open the window it's noisy.
