Pleasant
Liked: Location is good. Really quiet and a good neighborhood.
Disliked: * The apartment is not clean. The host even left the garbage from previous guests in the trash bin. * Only one key * The lock box was not easy to open. It was probably broken.
Delapidated, nothing charming about that
Liked: Very nice location. Central with nice buildings and shops around.
Disliked: The place is not properly maintained, borderline delapidated. I expected a dirty place based on the reviews, but this went beyond. The washing machine was not functional, and had liters of moldy water in it, suggesting the manager hasn't checked in for a long time. The glass soap dish in the shower is broken, just waiting for someone to cut themselves. There are electrical sockets that are falling out of the wall and none functional. Missing smoke detectors, and the two that are there have dead batteries. Other than that, just your absolute bare bones kitchen and furniture. Could be a good place for families, but needs to be taken care of.
Liked: Apartment is in a beautiful area of Bonn and walking distance to town
Disliked: Would have liked some basic tea coffee milk provisions
The cleanliness of the apartment made the stay not up to our expectation, I would recommend the host to check that the c
Liked: The property is in a nice neighborhood and it’s close to the city centre.
Disliked: I have previously read in another feedback that the cleaning was not properly done despite the host hired a professional cleaning company. We also found the apartment rather dirty, and from the bathrooms it was clear that they were used but not properly cleaned. Some towels were left in the washing machine, and some others were in the dryer which was still running once we arrived for the check in. We found only 2 hand towels and 1 towel for the shower which could be promptly used, despite being 4 people. In the kitchen cupboard we found a bag of moldy onions, and overall there was a lot of dust everywhere. The kitchen is equipped with the bare minimum (not even a toaster). I would also have appreciated if the host would have specified that the apartment is located into the basement of the building.
