Fabulous
The building is interesting
Liked: A traditional building was renovated to a nice hotel. Not only the old part but also the new part of the buildings are also interesting. The pool and sauna were clean and well equipped. Breakfast has a wide range of hot and cold meals. Then the price was quite reasonable. I will definitely stay here if I come back to Bonn.
Disliked: Some distance from the city centre though it is acceptable. It is good that it takes only few minutes walk to Hauptbahnhof.
I would give the place two stars, not four
Liked: The location is a short walk from the station: quite nice -- and the staff were helpful and kind.
Disliked: The place itself is quite awful: a failed renovation of a formerly beautiful building. Heartless, tasteless and on a tight budget. I will never return.

Excellent hotel
Liked: The premises are excellent. The hotel used to be a Catholic seminar, so the building is imposing but also very serene. The gardens are beautiful and the location is excellent. The breakfast was good with a variety of hams, cheeses, breads and teas, so it feels very German.
Disliked: The only thing was the wifi. The system limits the number of devices you can connect: I could only use three; not enough for a tech person like me =P. Also, each time I opened my devices I had to login to the wifi, so it took a little more time than I'd have liked.
Liked: I would like to give a special thank-you to the restaurant staff and the kitchen team! I asked if they had “Vollkornbrot,” and they kindly made it especially for me for breakfast for two days. Much appreciated!
