A warm, welcoming place to stay in a great location
Liked: A great place to stay on the outskirts of Bonn. We were travelling with our 2 dogs and had a lovely dog friendly room with direct access to the grounds. A lovely touch was a dog mat, bowl and dog treat in the room. The staff were so accommodating opening a dining area for us to have dinner as the dogs couldn’t go in the main dinning room. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Nothing was too much trouble, all the staff were amazing. We loved the little fresh produce stall just outside the entrance to the hotel and stopped to buy locally produced fruit, cake and pates.

Perfect for a peaceful retreat
Liked: The property is situated in a peaceful setting. It has all the facilities. The room was nicely decorated and clean. The bathroom was spacious.
Disliked: Nothing much. Except the fact that there was a lowered wall next to the bed by the table and I hit my head on it.
It was short but memorable! We‘d definitely go back
Liked: Everything was really great! I like that it’s located near the forest so it’s a very peaceful place. The breakfast spread was exceptional 👌🏼 More importantly, the staff are so friendly and professional.
Worst hotel experiance ever

Disliked: ★☆☆☆☆ This was, without a doubt, the worst hotel experience we have ever had. We arrived at around 2:00 AM and were charged a late check-in fee. Only after completing the check-in process were we informed that the hotel’s air conditioning system was not working. We were simply asked whether we still wanted to stay, with the promise that it would “probably be fixed tomorrow.” We were travelling with our one-year-old baby. At 2:00 AM we had nowhere else to go, so we had no choice but to accept the room. The apartment was extremely old, outdated, and smelled musty. Without air conditioning, it was unbearably hot and stuffy. Our baby could not sleep the entire night because of the heat. The next morning, we asked if we could be moved to a cooler room. Instead of trying to help, the receptionist simply handed us the keys to two different rooms and told us to check them ourselves. We had to inspect both rooms, decide which one was cooler, and move all of our luggage ourselves. It honestly felt like we were doing the hotel’s job instead of being their guests. The service was extremely unprofessional. The hallways smelled old and musty, and the receptionist on duty was clearly unhappy with both her job and her life. Rather than showing empathy or trying to solve the problem, she took out her frustration on the guests. I have rarely encountered someone working in hospitality with such a negative attitude. The biggest disappointment was not that the air conditioning had broken down—technical issues can happen anywhere. The real problem was the complete lack of professionalism, responsibility, and customer care. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I have stayed in far more modest hotels in much poorer countries that offered significantly better service and treated their guests with far more respect.
