Exceptional
Feels like at home. Very cozy
Liked: Very good equipped apartment. On a quiet street. 5 minutes to tram.
Disliked: small bathroom
Liked: The house was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. A short walk to Beuel. Excellent public transport. Lovely cycling. Bikes provided. Walk to the river. The outside garden was beautiful. The hosts were fabulous. Nothing was a problem. Locals were friendly. Safe neighbourhood. Would absolutely recommend.
Disliked: The air con wasn't great but it was very very hot. 39 degrees. The hosts found a fan for us and left us ice and cold drinks.
Gorgeous apartment when visiting Bonn
Liked: The apartment was lovely and warm, spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. The hosts left wine and snacks for us which was a lovely touch. Instructions to get into the apartment were straightforward. The garden terrace is beautiful but unfortunately the weather didn't allow us to avail of it. The location was really good. We were a 5 minute walk from a tram stop to the centre. There are some nice cafes and restaurants in Bonn Beuel too and the Aldi is also nearby.
Disliked: Nothing
Perfect, would have appreciated staying longer
Liked: Very very well equipped, cosy vibe, clean. They made it an enjoyable experience.
Disliked: It was a little cold and changing the temperature on the heaters didn’t seem to have any effect.
Old outdated apartment that smells like mildew
Liked: The host tried to make our stay pleasant but there were really too many problems in the apartment to even enjoy our stay. There were some nice restaurants in the near but that was about it.
Disliked: The apartment was dirty and smelled like mildew everywhere. There were dog/ cat hairs in the bed which my wife is unfortunately allergic to. The bathroom was rather small and looked nothing like what was in the description of the apartment. The floors are in much need of repairs as there were nails sticking up that my wife also stepped on. There was construction on the street around the apartment and absolutely nowhere to even park our car. We ended up parking in a parking garage over a kilometer away. The wifi also kept disconnecting while trying to watch a movie. We need not enjoy our experience in Bonn to say the least.
