  90's atmosphere, good breakfast and beautiful view from big windows

  Liked: Good selection of breakfast food, some different dish every morning, like spring rolls or stuffed tomatoes. One hour was not enough to eat all that I wanted... I liked big windows with views to Elbe river banks. Room was clean and big. If you need a big room, I recommend Hotel am Terrassenufer.

  Disliked: In 4 stars' hotel I would expect a kettle and tea in a hotel room. Now there was only 2 bottles of water in the fridge. Evenings were chilly and many cafes closed already between 18-19, so I would have wanted to enjoy tea and snacks in the hotel room. Food selection in the lobby was not what I would choose.

  Liked: Room was very spacious and comfortable. walking distance to the Alstadt. Would stay here again the next time I'm in Dresden.

  Disliked: It was marathon day on the Sunday and the breakfast hall was kind of chaotic. Plenty of food options though.

  Good value for money but with significant drawbacks

  Liked: The hotel is in a great location and the rooms are spacious and clean.

  Disliked: The Internet didn't work during half of my stay. The webpage to register for the Internet didn't work properly on any of my browsers. The sewage smell in front of the building made me not want to hang out there for any longer than absolutely necessary. No parking available, except the public one on the street which was quite busy.
