Liked: We really enjoyed our stay at Gästehaus Grupello and we'll definitely come back whenever we visit Düsseldorf again! The room corresponded to the ones in the pictures, it was spacious and had good WiFi. The bathroom was shared, but there were no issues with it and it was clean throughout our stay. The location is great, we were able to walk from the Gästehaus to all the major attractions in Düsseldorf. The hostess was incredibly nice, she gave us an electric kettle for the room and had cups, mugs and clutery available for the guests to use, as well as coffee and tea. She also talked us through what we could visit in the city during our stay, and even lent us an umbrella for a day.

Would recommend to all my friends looking to visit the city!

Liked: Really welcoming host- who not only went through the details of the guesthouse but also gave further information on the city:-) Perfectly functional room for my purposes, clean and extremely well-located

Liked: It was very clean and the staff were so lovely. Very close to the center and very good restaurants

Disliked: Not that I didn't like but maybe something to flag that the curtains aren't long enough or blackout

Liked: Walking distance to Dusseldorf HBF, making it great for checking out the city, Koln and Essen.

Disliked: Do be prepared to climb 4 floors on stairs - so do keep that in mind. Really not much can be done about it, but just consider it for yourself.

Liked: Everything was great for me, I reserved the single room with the shared bathroom and it was never a problem, 90 percent of the time it wasn't occupied, and everything was clean. The owner is very nice and helpful, and the location is very good and close to both tram and subway stations. I would probably stay here again if I went back to Düsseldorf:)
