  Overall, it was a great stay with excellent cleanliness and a very helpful host

  Liked: Our stay was very enjoyable, and this was without a doubt the cleanest accommodation I have ever stayed in. It was especially nice to arrive at such a spotless and welcoming place after long days at ProWein. The host was very friendly and accommodating, and allowed us to check in earlier than scheduled. We really appreciated this, as it meant we didn’t have to carry our luggage around all day at the exhibition. The minibar they had prepared for us was also a very nice touch that made the stay even more pleasant. There was also an information folder available, which was useful, but it could use some updating, as both the grocery store and the Japanese restaurant mentioned was closed.

  Disliked: As for areas of improvement, the stairs leading up to the second floor are quite steep, which may be challenging for guests with mobility issues. In addition, the hot water tank is quite small, meaning the water in the shower quickly turns cold before warming up again. This made it difficult to have a proper shower, and I wasn’t able to fully wash my hair.

  OK for a very short stay but id look elsewhere for a longer stay

  Liked: The location was within easy distance from the trade fair and the place was in a quiet neighbourhood and very clean. Also our host, Michael, was literally next door so had there been any real problems he would have helped.

  Disliked: 1) 2 issues. The most disappointing issue was that there was no toilet upstairs! The 2 bedrooms are upstairs via a steep narrow staircase. This meant that i was up a couple of times during the night to go down this steep staircase to get to the toilet. Incidentally there is no staircase light so we used a living room lamp to illuminate at night as the staircase is steep and there is only a handrail on 1 side. 2) The toilet and bathroom are downstairs just past the front door but the real issue was with the bathroom hot water supply. The water heater they use is a Valiant instant type of water heater which has 2 settings; setting 1 provides luke warm water in a constant stream, while setting 2 which provides much hotter water but will freeze you with repeatedly for brief periods (half a minute) of freezing water as the system cannot supply a CONSTANT stream of hot water! We were forced to use setting 1 which was only just acceptable.

  Remote place from Düsseldorf city center

  Liked: The host is a typical German. Some snacks are free.

  Disliked: Remote place from city center. Taking trams to reach the apartment, it means that the guests need to be back the place before sunset because they have to walk to the place from the station Located in a pure residential area. Required to find a restaurant near the apartment if need nutrient breakfast or dinner.
