  Could have been better

Liked: Didn't use the restaurant so cannot comment on quality. All interactions with staff were friendly.

Disliked: The showers - was told to let run for 10mins before they got hot. Also the shower door did not close properly, meaning water spilt on the floor. The air con in the room did not function properly. The safe in the room did not work - battery error. Need USB A or C charging ports. Issues were not raised as actual time spent in the rooms (sleeping) was very little over the two night stay.

Disliked: The air-con is not working, so very cold in the night. The duvet is too short.

Liked: Great location, walking distance to the centre, the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Disliked: Communication issue: we had booked 2 rooms - 1 for 3 people with breakfast and the other for 2 people without breakfast. The hotel applied the breakfast to the wrong room, which I asked them to correct by message in Booking and again with reception on arrival. The next day the group of 3 went down for breakfast but were initially denied entering, so they gave the other room number and were allowed in. The staff at the door came back to their table 3 more times stating their room did not have breakfast; the third time this happened one of the group gave the staff a stare and they then finally let them eat in peace. This is not acceptable for this type of hotel, especially as we had already tried to correct the issue by message via booking AND with reception the day prior.

  Good central hotel

Liked: The location is great, close to the city center and the train station, with public transport easily accessible within a 2-3 minutes walk. The staff was kind and helpful, we appreciated the early check-in service (for a 20 euros fee), especially after a long and tiresome trip.

Disliked: The breakfast was good, with vegan/vegetarian options, but it lacked diversity. Also, it would have been nice to have more fresh fruit available.
