  Liked: Very good first impression: the apartment was nice and clean at first glance, and it looked just like the photos. The location is great—everything is within walking distance, and the balcony overlooks a quiet street full of mature plane trees.

  Disliked: We were staying on the top floor, in the apartment with the balcony. Unfortunately, the wall between our apartment and the one next door is not soundproof, rather the opposite it feels like it works as an amplifier. We had two sleepless nights and even when the party next door stopped (we asked them to stop the music at 3am) early in the morning, we could hear every laugh and every word spoken. Also, at the second glance, the place was rather dirty, there was a pile of dust underneath the bed, a full ashtray, a stain on the bed cover, etc.

  Great staff! Great location! Great value!

  Liked: The staff. They were by far the best part of our stay. They were extremelt helpful and accommodating. Aside from them, the location was *very* convenient to everything - Edeka, restaurants, etc. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was clean, the shower was nice and spacious, and (most importantly) the air conditioner worked. (More on that below). Despite the things I didn't like, I would absolutely stay here again.

  Disliked: The penthouse apartment we originally reserved was nice but... the bedroom was a bit cramped, as the bed took up nearly all of the space in the room. Had we stayed in that apartment, getting out of the bed would have most likely been a bit of a pain. Then, out of nowhere, the air conditioner (fan) stopped working - on one of the hottest days ever in Germany. I called the after hours number and they were, as I stated, very friendly and accommodating - they checked on the availability of one of the other apartments(that just happened to be even bigger) and gave it to us. Really nice of them. Aside from that, overlooking one of the main streets through the city, yes, the traffic and sirens got a bit noisy at times, even with the windows closed. It was to be expected, though.

  Disliked: Apartment is very noisy from neighbors and no one is controlling this. I have called and no one did anything.
