  Excellent modern hotel at the top of the fortress hill in Erfurt

  Liked: Super modern room and in great condition, helpful staff with good English skill, excellent breakfast with lots of choices (costs 20e though), great bed, nice after work party in the evening (select weeks), superb location right at the literal center of the city at the old fortress area, great parking spot (costs 15e).

  Disliked: The room + breakfast + parking was quite a lot, so pricy but not the most expensive 4-star hotel I've been to by far. The hotel is in the middle of a park where people hang around in the evenings for picnic and drinks, so expect some noise, didn't bother my sleep.

  Exceptional hotel and situation!

  Liked: Everything is fantastic in this hotel. The situation is incredible, at the heart of the citadelle of Erfurt, with fantastic view at a 2 minutes walf and a public glass lift that brings you downtown in less than 15 minutes. It is very easy to reach by car and there is a parking (with reservation) in front of the building. It is an old building that has been completely refurbished in a very beautiful manner. The chamber was very very comfortable and beautiful, very cosy. The personnel at the reception was nice and helpful. If we could we would have stayed longer!

  Liked: The hotel is set in the citadel area and is very convenient for visiting the lovely city of Erfurt. The staff were extremely helpful throughout our stay. It started when we arrived early to try and organise access for our car which was rather confusing due to road works. The lady at reception went to the bother of driving us back to our car and showing the way back. Parking was reserved for us. Evening meal was excellent on the terrace overlooking parkland. The room was ultra modern, clean and well equipped but not particularly large.
