  Liked: The room was well organized and had a good kitchenette with dishes, cookware, and dish soap.

  Disliked: Only one dishtowel was included. I recommend the apartments be supplied with two dish towels. It makes a huge difference. For my room, the mattress protector was stained. I am not sure why housekeeping decided to make the bed with stained linens. I was given a different room after asking for a solution. Unfortunately the next room had a partially locked window and a thermostat with a broken screen. Laundry: I booked this accommodation expecting to use the in-building laundry room but it was marked not for guest use. Unsure why. There was a water warning about higher-than-prescribed bacteria levels in the water. The showerheads were outfitted with equipment to manage the bacterial... Unsure about the faucet etc.

  Liked: Unfortunately, my experience at this property was very disappointing. The reception staff were extremely rude and unwelcoming. There was no proper welcome, no good customer service, and no helpful guidance whatsoever. The way guests were treated was unacceptable. Instead of making guests feel welcome and comfortable, the attitude was more like, “Just take your things and leave.” Good hospitality and respectful communication are essential in the hotel and accommodation business, but sadly, this property failed to meet even basic expectations. I would not recommend this place based on my experience.

  Conveneient stay in the quiet residential area, but not in the center

  Liked: Location is in the quiet residential area. Kaufland supermarket is very close. There are plenty of cades around. Has a good tram connection to the center. The hotel is good for families, for those who plan to cook, the room has kitchenette and the appliances.

  Disliked: It's not a classical hotel, cleaning is possible only after 4 nights of stay

  Good facilities spoiled by poor service

  Liked: The Aparthotel had good facilities in the reception area and in the room. The walk-in shower was good. It is close to a tram route. It has shops nearby including Edeka and DM.

  Disliked: We had problems with the heating/AC system. This cannot be adjusted in the room apart from the fan speed, which cannot be turned completely off. There are no instructions in the room. We raised this problem with Reception twice, but it took two days to get the fan switched off. It was keeping us awake at night and blowing cold air into the room. Kitchen facilities were good but there were no eggcups. The quality of service from the reception staff depended on who was on duty. Some were unhelpful.

  Liked: Bed was comfy and accessible from both sides (this might sound funny, but at one similar apartment stay elsewhere the double bed was only accessible from one side!). Room came with a useful kitchen area with hob, and table with two bar stools. Location a few paces from the tram stop on direct route to Freiburg station and city centre was excellent. About 10 minutes journey time on one tram to the station. We liked the lounge area downstairs and it's free coffee and with it's mini shop stocking beer, soft drinks, pasta, crisps etc. All in all, a very good stay.

  Disliked: Our room had a bed that could have been converted to a sofa with some effort, but the absence of a lounge area did not bother us as we were out all day.
