  CLean, secure and welcoming apartment close to tram stop

  Liked: Clean, secure and spacious apartment, easy to get to on public transport, with good supermarkets close by. Comfortable beds, good shower, comfy sofa and work area, plenty of seating.

  Disliked: Only minor points to be aware of, overall the apartment was excellent: there is no oven, only a microwave and hob. And the coffee cups are pretty tiny (by our non-European standards).

  A good introduction to Freiburg

  Liked: Very well organised with everything you could possibly need and all of a high quality.

  Disliked: I have mobility issues and the low bed was very difficult to get in and out of. Not really a criticism because for most people it would be fine, but it was an issue for me.

  Brand new apartment to discover Freiburg and its surroundings

  Liked: The apartment is in a large apartment house with 10-12 floors, I was in the 7th floor, in a single room. The apartment was brand new, living room and kitchen is in the same space, but spacious enough for one person. The kitchen and the bathroom was well equipped, Tram #2 stops nearby, downtown is about 10-15 minutes ride. Grocery shops, restaurants, kebab shop are near the apartment.   Next time I would upgrade

  Liked: Lovely apartment and very well suited for a single person!

  Disliked: Couldn’t believe that the bed was permanently placed against the wall and required the other person (my wife) to crawl over me to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night! Especially when there was plenty of room to position the bed otherwise! See enclosed picture!

  Decent enough but could never stay again because of the "mattress"

  Liked: Perfectly located just north of the old town. Safe, residential neighbourhood with supermarkets, restaurants etc.

  Disliked: The mattress on the bed is beyond awful. It's more of a cushion than a mattress. It is categorically not an option if you have even a remotely bad back. It crippled me over 3 nights. Room a bit dusty, pillows also too soft and need protective covers because they smell grubby, shower needs descaling, fridge in room horrendously noisy.
