  10 out of 10. It does not get any better than this

  Liked: Beautiful guesthouse in beautiful surroundings. All wood inside, wonderfully decorated. Huge room and bathroom. All recently renovated. Could have lived there!:) Very nice bar and a truly superb restaurant. Had an eccellent dinner there. Great staff. Planning to come back with my husband. Recommend to everyone. 10 out of 10. It does not get better than this.

  Great location, quiet, great view from the window, tram stop just outside the guest house

  Liked: It was relatively clean (few cobwebs, but I do not mind), great location- walkable to town centre, but far enough to have some peace and quiet. And on the doorstep of Black Forest. You can actually see it from the window!!! Amazing view. Extra big up to the waiter in the beer garden- what a sweetheart!

  Disliked: I had small stain on the bedsheets; I noticed it when I arrived, but I was too exhausted to do anything about it that day. However I asked the cleaners to change my bedding the next day. I left for the day the next day; when I returned, the beds were made, but the bedding was NOT changed. Same stain, same place. Ok, next day I also asked for bedding change. Again, we left for the day. After returning late in the evening, I found one bed was made, the other one was untouched, however no bedding was changed. After that I just gave up, but this is the bit that really was the issue for me.

  Pretty good

  Disliked: Breakfast was fine and coffee was really nice but with only fried eggs for the cooked part it felt a little bit sparse

  Great location, great breakfast

  Liked: Location, good breakfast and clean

  Disliked: Bathroom, shower shiny with elevated floor, difficult for someone with mobility issues. Fan was supplied but room still very hot!

  A lovely hotel to stay at

  Liked: friendly staff, we had a lovely clean, comfy room, secure underground garage parking for our motorbikes, which was very good. we ate at the hotel restaurant as well, we all ordered differing meals & all of them were very very good. a good breakfast choice was available. the hotel was very good value for money

  Disliked: nothing bad to say about the hotel, it met all or expectations and we enjoyed our stay there.

Good to know

Our restaurant prepares from Wednesday to Saturday from 17h - 21:30h and every Sunday from 12h - 21:30h regional and seasonal hot and cold dishes for you. In good weather, the beer garden remains open for about 22h and the bar area is open for at least 23h.

Please note that the restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
