  Liked: The beer in the bar is cheap.

  Disliked: Everything was mediocre and the breakfast disappointing. Breakfast is from 7.00 - 9.00, and check-out is until 9.30.

  It was great!

  Liked: It’s a very nice place in a very picturesque place. The nature is great. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. For example I had to leave before the breakfast but they still packed some snack for me. Very sweet of them. I’m my room I had everything I needed.

  Disliked: You should be aware of the location, it’s not in the city centre, it takes some time to get there and around 15 min of walking from the tram stop. But there is a great forest nearby.

Good to know

All guests must be members of the DJH (Deutsches Jugendherbergswerk) or Hosteling International. Membership can be purchased upon arrival at the reception. The membership costs EUR 7 per year for guests under 26 years and EUR 27.50 for families and people from 27 years. From 1 June each year, you can buy the DJH membership for half price when you become a member for the first time.

Non German guests must purchase a Hosteling International Card (EUR 18) if they are not a member of a national youth hostel association. For single overnight stays, a welcome stamp can be purchased upon arrival for EUR 3.50.

Please note that for bookings for 6 people or more, different policies and additional supplements may apply.
