Very good
Lovely quiet place for exploring Goslar
Liked: The owner was very friendly and efficient, and booked a taxi for us to get back to the station.
Disliked: Too much to eat at breakfast! I kept being offered a boiled egg, even though I said 3 times that I can't eat eggs; they make me ill
Liked: The room was nice, comfortable and clean.
Disliked: Most of the time there was no staff available. The bathroom show didn't drain, and the wifi was terrible.
Great place to stay in Goslar, especially with a dog
Liked: Clean and comfortable, very quiet, walking distance from the lovely center of Goslar. All was on an honesty basis, and I was given a call to make sure I had the details for the check-in. There are green areas right nearby for walking the dog.
Disliked: No fridge in the room (I had a medicine than needed to be kept refrigerated). But there is a self-serve mini-bar at the reception so I was able to use that.
Liked: Cute guesthouse and very well located. However, the bed was very noisy whenever we moved. Also we booked breakfast and it was never served. I think we were completely alone there and no one showed up. The owners called and apologized and offered to refund the breakfast, which was very nice. But still we waited 45 mins with a 2-year-old for breakfast and then we just left.
Amazing city, worst hotel I’ve ever been too
Liked: The location is ok, as Goslar is not a big town, so it’s easy to get to the center from anywhere
Disliked: 1. There was no one at reception, so we couldn’t get in for 30 mins after a whole day drive: nobody answered the phone calls 2. They didn’t put the baby crib, which I requested and they confirmed the request 3. The room was dirty: we found an old tangerine under the bad, which was probably left by previous tenants 4. Upon check-in out there was no one on reception 5. They charged me second time for the same stay, even though I have prepaid the stay
Quiet and lovely room close to the center, but not as lovely as the owner;)
Liked: The stuff was always open for our extra wishes and tried to make the stay as comfortable as possible. The house is in a quiet location, only 5 minutes walking from the center. The room was clean and there was a bathroom on the floor - that we didn’t use, but could have. They also provided a storage room for our bicycles and let us leave our bags there for the day.
