  Really nice location

  Liked: The location is awesome and the hotel is modern but set in beautiful old building. There is a nice courtyard for dining if you’re there in the summertime. Staff was awesome. Breakfast was really good

  Great place to explore Goslar on foot

  Liked: Great experience in an original character building. Restaurant and nice courtyard to dine downstairs.

  Disliked: Parking in Goslar is limited and we would have appreciated full instructions before arriving.

  Spitzenmäßig! Inhabergeführte Hotellerie macht richtig Freude

  Liked: Der goldene Stern ist wirklich ein ganz besonderes Hotel. Das liegt zum einen natürlich an dem wunderschönen historischen Fachwerkhaus, hier wurden keine Mühen gespart mit der Struktur des Hauses zu arbeiten und trotzdem sehr moderne und komfortable Zimmer einzubauen. Von der Ausstattung bis zum Frühstück alles scheint hier mit Geschmack ausgewählt worden zu sein und nicht einfach nur 1 zu 1 den globalen Standards zu folgen. Toll ist auch der Restaurantbereich im Innenhof, der auch an heißen Tagen schön schattig ist. Das griechische Restaurant Platon ist richtig lecker und offensichtlich auch bei Nicht-Hotel-Gästen sehr beliebt. Das beste am Goldenen Stern ist aber die herzliche Gastfreundschaft, man merkt das Inhaber Pavlos Dritsos Gastgeber aus Leidenschaft ist, diese Freude überträgt sich auf das gesamte Team und selbstverständlich auf die Gäste.

  Disliked: Achtung, die Fachwerkstruktur hat an manchen Stellen Balken, wo man mit den Kopf gegendötzen kann. Das liegt nun mal am Gebäude.
