Pleasant
It remains a hostel so you get a hostel
Liked: Location is in a nice and safe neighborhood
Disliked: To be honest, it is a hostel and nobody says its a hotel, however, some things just need renovations: shower’s rain shower head did not move nor work, the other shower head can only be used if you do not hang it up (so you have to use a hand to shower); bed’s lining over mattresses looked yellow and not really fresh; there was a lamp near place where there is no socket; there was no shower gel; the rest of things can be seen in photos that we attach.
Liked: The old building is absolutely charming.
Disliked: This place need at least deep cleaning or better a renovation. I can understand some minor flaws in hotel's/hostel's cleanliness, but here appliances in the common kitchen haven't been cleaned for ages and the inner yard that you can see from the window is full of trash (see the photo). Also it seems that the bunk bed in my room was rather designed for children then for adults: the distance between the levels is not enough to sit on the lower bed. And the check-in process can't be described as smooth: my friends and I had to wait for about an hour at the doors before we finally got our keys.
Liked: The building has character inside and out and endears to you once you settle in. I had a private room which included a bathroom and a bunk bed so I assume it was intended for two people. There is a kitchen whuch I used and a common room with TV The bed linen smelled so fresh as did the towels
Disliked: The hotel water ran out before I had finished my shower but it is a big building so demand could be high at certain times
Liked: For this price I expect nothing more than what I had
Liked: I don't understand why there are so many bad review. The place is nice, the rooms are clean and the shared bathrooms are nice and clean. It is not a five star hotel but for the money you get a very nice place to sleep and stay.
Not worth
Liked: Location was near to hbf and Room was clean.
Disliked: The hostel was not well maintained, kitchen was very dirty nothing was working not even stoves, microwave. Utensils were very dirty nothing. Building is too old and No one was there to assist( Assistance was only through call). Really not value for money.
