Excellent location & very comfortable hotel
Liked: Location was excellent, however no car park. We arrived on motorcycles and were told to park in a car park 5 mins away, however we just parked up in the square & it wasn't an issue, even the police didn't care. Breakfast was excellent, the rooms very good. I wish I'd asked for a lower floor for my friends single room as he was put on top floor with no lift.
Disliked: Just the high floor for the single room
Liked: Quiet, comfortable, delicious breakfast
Disliked: On the final day my bed wasn't made and the towels from the floor replaced on my radiator, also my air conditioning controller was taken away. Sadly I returned to the hotel after the staff had left so I wasn't able to mention this. I also tripped on a small step leading to the main staircase from the top floor. I think this step should be hazard taped.
Fine, but next time another place
Liked: Breakfast was really awesome. Room had plenty of light.
Disliked: It was a bit of an empty walk to the city centre, I didn't expect it to be this far from any life on a Saturday afternoon. Also it was a bit of a surprise that at the reception nothing but German was spoken. Additionally, I was alone and I expected a double room with one big bed, but I was given a room with two single beds. People travelling alone also like big beds, you know. And just downstairs behind the window, there is an interior courtyard where people were talking and making funny noises until 2AM and then started smoking again at 7AM. You'll hear all this.
A nice hotel close to the historical center of Goslar
Liked: Because of problem with heating in Kaiserhof, the owner has shifted us to their next hotel - "Hubertus Hof", close to Kaiserhof. This one was situated closer to the historical center of Goslar, in a completely renewed historical - for Goslar typical building. Very good hotel equipment, as well as plentiful standard breakfast. Private parking, next to the hotel building, is perfect, as well.
Disliked: In advance expected communication has somehow "failed", so we've got the information about the hotel heating problem only with our departure to Kaiserhof and after our phone appeal, what is happened, because Kaiserhof was locked. But owner has clarified the issue and managed the swap immediately.
