Wonderful Hotel in Great Location
Liked: It is in the center of the town and great updated rooms. The staff both in the reception and the restaurant are super nice and helpful. Stayed here years ago and it was just as great now as it was then. Also a very good breakfast! We will be back.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike
Great stay at the Schiefer Hotel!
Liked: We stayed for a night and loved it! They were able to accommodate a family of 4, and the hotel is right on the main square so we could have dinner at the hotel restaurant with a nice view and then go for a walk in this pretty town. The room was clean and well serviced. The main room and the bathroom were upstairs and the sofa bed was downstairs, but it worked great for us! The restaurant was also good. We would love to go back!
A beautiful hotel with friendly and helpful staff in the heart of Goslar
Liked: Great location, with a comfortable and spacious room. The staff were very friendly and helpful
Disliked: Nothing in particular
A highly recommended stay in Goslar
Liked: The location cannot be any better. Parking when booked is exceptionally convenient. The rooms are massive and a nice atmosphere right in the middle of the old town of goslar.
Disliked: Not a major thing but in the bedroom the air conditioning light (which is very bright) faces the sleeper, it is honestly a bit of an inconvenience. More communication regarding breakfast would also have been beneficial for my stay.
Wonderful apartment in the center of Goslar
Liked: Great location: I stayed around the corner from the Markt (the main square), close to sights and restaurants. Very friendly reception. My apartment, Lilienberg, was spacious and beautifully updated, with a kitchen and dining space, lots of windows, and a comfy bed. Breakfast in the attractive restaurant was good.
Disliked: The otherwise great bathroom had poor lighting-- none at the sink. A work desk in the unit would also be a useful addition. Breakfast staff was friendly, but no English was spoken there.
