  Functional, Near City Center

  Liked: Much larger than expected, looks like photos, a bit dated but completely functional. Internet solid. Shower with plenty of hot water (towels thin, need new). Washer & dryer (no detergent). Dishwasher, oven, stovetop, fridge. Items for infants: highchair, pack n play noted. Larger couch and 2 TV's (living room and bedroom). On level 1, about 20 stairs to apartment.

  Disliked: Unable to get into apartment until checkin time and only once you've had a phone call with owner as he needs to "buzz" you in. Frustrating when you don't have international phone plan for that. Lockbox would be much easier! Location is close to city center but very nearby to many bars and gentlemen's clubs/Redlight District. Not really a family type area for sure. Some street noise especially early morning. Cleanliness is ok: cobwebs noticed. Balcony is unappealing with nothing to sit on or make you feel welcomed, unappealing view. Curtains and lack thereof don't provide much privacy and allow for bright light to wake you by 5am. Two twin beds pushed together, fine for some but not for cuddling. No A/C so it can get very warm inside, one fan provided. Would be difficult if multiple people staying as someone would be without.

  Liked: Location was good, close to the centre, and main train station by walk, and you can easily reach metro and tram stations. The house was spacious and very clean. We enjoyed our stay.

  Disliked: All the needs in the house were kept at a basic level. The bed was created by combining two single beds, such a bed cannot be called a double. The pillows were very thin, not like a pillow and not comfortable at all. The duvet was also very thin and was for one person. There was no extra sheet, no extra blanket. It was brought when requested, thanks, but I still think these services need to be improved. Better pillows, covers can be used, spares can be placed. It is not very difficult. It can be a little more than basic. Also, our check-in time was delayed because some trains and transportation networks were canceled. When I said we might be late, the attitude I got in return was quite arrogant, I was told I had to take a taxi. I think this decision is up to me, it is up to the landlord to help in this matter. It should always be kept in mind that such delays may occur and one should be more helpful in this regard.
