  Great location

  Liked: Great location; very close to the train station as well as the walking streets of the old city. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed the breakfast as well; there was a good variety of options for our whole family.

  Disliked: The bed and the couch (used as a second bed) were both very firm.

  Basic, basic, basic, basic apartment, basic amenities and basic staff (no the staff are just rude)

  Liked: The apartments are handy from the train station, although I wouldn't personally say this is the nicer part of town, it didn't feel safe as a solo female traveller at night walking to the train station.

  Disliked: I have just done a multi stop trip and stayed in 5 different places and this was the biggest disappointment of all. I'm honestly shocked at all the good reviews because to me it just was not up to the standard for the money. I only stayed here as I needed a washing machine and I've now decided Ill just stay in hotels in future and get them to do my laundry, but even comparable to other apartments I stayed in, this place was so far behind. To start with, everything is very basic..... definitely not a 4 star, 2 star at best. I don't understand the quilt that only half covers the bed, the towels should have been thrown away a long time ago, the furniture is all cheap and uncomfortable, and the staff are rude. I asked for extra pillows at reception just after I arrived as they are all flat and when the receptionist asked me my room number, I said I think its xxx,? he literally laughed at me and said... ''well I don't know'' well why didn't he know, its his job to know, and certainly not his job to laugh at me. Then on day 3 when I asked for extra towels because the 2 flimsy ones you get are not sufficient, I asked at reception in the morning and by evening they were not in my room so I had to go down and ask for them. I'm a small female too and the towels can barely wrap around you, they should be bath sheets (i.e. biggest size) not towels. Again;... comparative to the service I received at all my other accommodations throughout Germany, this place is just embarrassing, their staff need some training. I would not dream of staying here again. I almost checked out when I arrived as its not the standard that I'm used to but I decided to grin and bear it, but never again! The 3 points were only because I actually like a firm mattress as I have a bad back, but I think most people won't even like a mattress that hard.
