  Perfectly located at the heart of Leipzig

  Liked: location (super central), design/layout of the apartment (spacious, practical, nice), very good value for money

  Disliked: one more small table and chair in the living room and a shelf or some drawers in the bathroom would have been perfect

  Central and well located accommodation with a modern feel at a very good price

  Liked: * Very well-located accommodation, close to the central station and within easy walking distance of the main downtown sights (approx 6 mins to the Old Town Hall and 8 mins to St Thomas' Church) * There was a Penny supermarket directly below the apartments – could not have been handier * Modern feel to the whole building interior * Efficient, clear and detailed instructions were given to us online as to how to find & access the building and how to find & access our precise room * Kitchenette in the corner of the main room (with fridge/ kettle/crockery/cutlery etc) was helpful to have. * Comfortable bed in which I slept well * Efficient walk-in shower

  Disliked: * Very hi-tech check-in system which older guests might not have been comfortable navigating (including having to upload a passport page and take & upload a selfie in order to prove one’s identity!) * Check-in hours were totally unflexible. 15:00 was a relatively late earliest check-in time allowed, and permission was refused for me to drop off my bags before that. * The multiple access codes (different access codes for street door/corridor door and apartment door, and different code for initial access to the apartment & subsequent access to the apartment) were potentially confusing. One particular code (for initial access to the apartment) was ridiculously long. Also, the keypads were not entirely user-friendly. * In the kitchenette corner, I would have appreciated one or two instant coffee sachets and milk sachets in addition to what was actually provided * Lighting scheme in the bedroom (and also in the bathroom) was a little harsh; there was scope for making it feel cosier. Some sort of picture on the main wall of the bedroom would also have helped. * Bathroom lights were a little difficult to find (black switches half-buried beneath black hairdryer!) * A handful of solid wooden hangers were provided inside the wardrobe, but there was nowhere at all to hang them up (and indeed nowhere to hang up coats or anything)! Both bedroom and bathroom would benefit from some door (or wall) hooks. * Bedroom would have benefited from a floor rug (guests don’t always want to get out of bed straight onto a cold hard floor!)

  Reasonable choice if you want to be close to it all

  Liked: Great location, close to everything you might want to explore in the city. The Limehome facility is in a historic building which has been gutted within and rebuild to accommodate today's travelers. Its internal appearance is quite sober and doesn't reflect the splendor of days gone by. That said, it is a convenient and reasonably comfortable place to spend a couple of days in Leipzig.

  Disliked: The place is overlooking the party zone on Ritterstrasse. Be prepared for night activity on the ground and close your window if you're not a night owl. Otherwise, no particular drawbacks. The lack of atmosphere, while regrettable, is a concession to modern times.
