  Liked: Nice place to stay. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is good. Nothing to complain about. It was quite around and no noise, but I am not sure for rooms which look on the main street.

  Disliked: Parking is paid and costs 15 euros, but its free on the streets around. If you come late, it will be hard to find free parking on the streets.

  Disliked: The Wi-Fi quality was very poor, to the point that I had to rely on my mobile data throughout my entire stay. The cleanliness of the room was also disappointing, as there was dust on several surfaces, including the wardrobes and especially the refrigerator. Additionally, the mattress was not very comfortable. Overall, these issues negatively affected my stay.

  Excellent stay — especially for travelling with dogs

  Liked: I had a really enjoyable stay at Lindenau Inn in Leipzig with my two dogs, and I would happily stay here again. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the hotel is genuinely very dog friendly. The €13.50 per night charge for both dogs was exactly as stated, with no unexpected fees. A particularly nice touch is the separate breakfast room where guests can have breakfast with their dogs, something that makes travelling with pets so much easier and more enjoyable. The location is excellent. There is a fantastic off leash dog area just across the road in Palmengarten Park, which was perfect for the dogs. The hotel is also within a very manageable walk of Leipzig city centre, around 40 minutes on foot, while still being in a quieter and pleasant area. The hotel is also very close to Karl-Heine-Straße, one of the liveliest areas in Leipzig's west, with a great choice of bars, restaurants, cafés and places to go out. It was really convenient to be able to walk out of the hotel and have so many options nearby without having to go to the city centre for dinner after a day walking from one dog park to another! Having said that the tram system to from city runs smoothly with one stop about one block away from the hotel. The hotel also has a gym and sauna, although I didn't have the opportunity to use them during my stay. Overall, I couldn't fault the experience. Friendly staff, great location, genuinely dog friendly, and excellent value. I would definitely stay at Lindenau Inn again on my next visit to Leipzig.

  Liked: The recepcionist was very pleasant. The room was big and comfortable. The breakfast has plenty of fresh food. Big parking near the hotel.
