  despite the location the hotel did not meet our expectations

  Liked: the location of the hotel and the cleanliness was good

  Disliked: The hotel staff were neither friendly nor efficient and guests’ requests were often forgotten or simply not taken into consideration. The hotel itself is in need of renovation, with very old and outdated facilities. Unfortunately, the room also had a strong smell of cigarette smoke which made the stay particularly unpleasant. Overall, the level of comfort was low and did not reflect the price paid for the stay. Considering the cost, I expected a higher standard of accommodation and service.

  How come is it a 4 star hotel???

  Liked: Nothing really...

  Disliked: First of all, this hotel may have been classes as a 4star 20 years ago. Very outdated. Charging €15 for car park is an extortion. We paid half of in Davos, Switzerland! This hotel is in the middle of niwherw, on the outskirt of a random city, not central Milan! Car park in central Milan is cheaper! Thankfully we found a free parking on the nearby street, oposite the hotel. Night time Reception staff did not speak english despite stating on bookimg that they do! No aircon or fans ( according to the website there is fan in the room??). It was extremely hot but when we opened the window we could not sleep due to noisy street. Food in the restaurant - awful! We ordered pasta napoli - pasta was overcooked, mixed with just tinned tomatoes and covered with gouda cheese!!! They havent heard of parmesan.... for the first time in my life i got napoli pasta with soft cheese! My partner ordeed chilli con carne.... hmmm, it was bolognese sause with sweetcorn... disgusting. We were surprised they charge extra to use sauna! Really?? In a 4 star hotel this is normally a free facility. We habe just travelled around Europe fir t weeks, spending time in 4 star hotels and this one was nowhere newar an average 4 star hotel. Breakfast was decent, thats all.
