  We’ve visited Hotel Bad Schachen a few times, but I feel the service has waned. Front of house staff were not so friendl

  Liked: Hotel Bad Schachen is a beautiful classic hotel to relax and the facilities like the spa and outside pool - plus where it’s situated directly lakeside is perfect. But there were some problems with the service we felt.

  Disliked: Prior to our arrival nor at check-in, were we notified of a party organised on our first evening, or the wedding taking place on the next day. The first evening we were told there was only a buffet if we had not book half pension. The wedding event caused a shortage of tables/staff(?) for us to be able to book a table for the second evening. And the fish was luke warm:(. All of this may sound like fussy complaints, but we had very much looked forward to some proper relaxation and better service for the money paid which was over CHF 1000.00 (room with balcony on the first floor for 2 nights/parking/ 1 evening meal (buffet and drinks))

  Superb stay in a beautiful place

  Liked: Beautiful classic hotel at the borders of the lake, stunning views. Pristine, art deco pool. Staff is very attentive and service minded, really friendly. We booked a few more nights!

  Liked: Amazing old lakeside property. Great rooms with lakeside that bring you back to a glorious past time. At times a little outdated but that adds to the charm. Gorgeous park and great breakfast, there is also also a private beach club you can have access to.

  Disliked: Small improvements: allow dogs into the private beach club. You do allow them in the hotel and they can also swim in the park where the hotel is. As long as a dog in on the leash and well behaved I do not see an issue. Also would be good to have air condition units if temperatures are above 30 degrees Celsius. Staff could be better trained, sometimes the waiters were not paying attention, were a little short with worlds or letting you wait long. For a high class hotel, the staff should be on point. Otherwise amazing and will come back!!

  Perfekter Kurzaufenthalt am Bodensee

  Liked: Sehr schöner Aufenthalt in einem tollen Hotel direkt am Bodensee. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, die Anlagen und Einrichtungen waren sehr gepflegt, und auch das Frühstück war sehr gut. Besonders positiv fanden wir, dass man auch nach dem Checkout die Anlagen, den Pool usw. noch bis 20 Uhr weiter nutzen durfte. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer und entspannter Aufenthalt.

  Disliked: Es gab nichts zu beanstanden.
