Fabulous
Very nice and clean rooms with a great breakfast
Liked: Clean rooms, quiet. Breakfast was great. Gluten free choices as well. Convenient parking in the hotel basement for a fee. Everything was great.
Disliked: A smoker's lounge seem a bit outdated in 2026, and there was a lot of cigarette smell coming out of it. Use the area for something more useful is my opinion.

Liked: Amazing hotel. Location, breakfast, parking, pool&spa, rooms, shower, all really great.

Liked: The location, the breakfast, the hotel aesthetics were all great.
Disliked: Our air conditioner was not functioning. We had to call twice to get someone to look and when they did we were told it could not be fixed until the next day. We were not offered another room, which was disappointing. Otherwise, the hotel was amazing and it I would have gladly rated it higher if it were not for this issue. We would stay again, but would definitely need to make sure the AC worked first.
Very good and excellent location for visiting Lubeck
Liked: Very well positioned, comfortable room, secure car park.
Disliked: The room was set for 1 even though we had registered 2 quests, 1 glass by the bottle water, one small cup and one even smaller cup!
a poor experience
Liked: the location was great. Breakfast was fair. Staff generally pleasant and helpful
Disliked: Despite its waterside location the hotel is generally quite gloomy in terms of public rooms and the restaurant in particular -even given it a submarine theme!!! Breakfast was typically very crowded and you were forced into dark annex room or to sit some distance from the buffet areas. Our worst experience was being told to wait for 10 minutes or more to be seated for dinner despite being hotel guests and then being "served" by two ladies who were quite abrupt and rude. The bar areas were characterless,, the piano remained unplayed and we discovered the Kogge bar/bistro only on our last night hidden behind what looked like a fire door and with no signage. All told it was disappointing!
