  No private bathroom!

  Liked: First of all, the quiet and the cleanliness. The location is in a peaceful neighborhood, a bit further away from the historic center. For breakfast, there is a good bakery a 5-minute walk away, and a supermarket a 7-minute walk away. The bed in our room was comfortable.

  Disliked: There are a few downsides here: First of all, considering the price paid, the lack of a PRIVATE BATHROOM is a major drawback! This is not clearly highlighted in the property listing! You have to read the list of amenities carefully, where, among other things, it mentions a shared bathroom. That said, the cleanliness was excellent (though, obviously, this also depends on the other guests). There are 4 rooms sharing a single bathroom on the ground floor. The house has a certain "smell," though that might be subjective. There is a shared kitchen with a shared refrigerator; everything was very clean. The room we stayed in was large but sparsely furnished. In short, everything feels somewhat improvised to make it work. It seems the owner lives on the premises.
