  A very comfortable and clean stay with excellent, attentive service

  Liked: We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Havana. The room was very comfortable and exceptionally clean. The staff were friendly, helpful and very responsive, whenever we had a question or small issue, they took care of it immediately. The location is also very convenient for exploring Mainz. We would happily stay here again.

  Disliked: Only a small suggestion: it would be nice to have a simple welcome pack in the room with a few essentials such as coffee, tea and sugar, especially for guests arriving late.

  Liked: The location is excellent, 5min from the city centre, bus and train stations, shops, everything. The rooms are quite big (I stayed there twice in the span of a couple of days, each time in a different room). The kitchen area is equipped with the bare minimum for a quick meal. The bed is very comfortable, and the windows block the noise from the traffic, since the rooms are all facing a busy street, and the curtains are also very good and block all the light. Check-in is very smooth; there is no reception, but you get the key from a box next to the room, which is very convenient.

  Disliked: The first room I stayed in got full of spiders throughout the night because the window sills had not been cleaned on the outside. In the second room, you could feel the floor vibrate from time to time, probably from a washing machine further down the corridor.

  Didn't feel as a hotel. Even the entrance is strange; Like from a " back door" feeling

  Liked: The location was perfect.

  Disliked: It is called hotel but it is more like a hostel. No stuff avaliable, a kind of a basic apartment.
