  Good stay near train!

  Liked: The hotel is literally across the street from the train station. It was so easy to take a day trip excursion from here to the Rhine River Valley. It is also walking distance to many of the sites in Mainz as well as plenty of restaurants. Rooms are comfortable and large. The staff are nice and helpful. WiFi worked well. Good hot water and water pressure in the shower.

  Disliked: The hotel could use some updating as far as style/ design but otherwise was great.

  Excellent location, clean, large room

  Liked: Location to train station was ideal, but it was not loud.

  Disliked: We had a room on the top floor but the elevator didn’t go all the way to our floor. Breakfast was not included.

  Lovely little hotel with a great location for train travel

  Liked: The location was excellent, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. The rooms were incredibly quiet for being right next to the train station, and the AC worked super well.

  Disliked: The beds are traditionally European - they are notably harder than most American hotel beds. To be expected, but worth noting for North American travelers.

  Enjoyable stay in this friendly hotel

  Liked: We stayed in a penthouse room on the top floor, which was quiet and comfortable. We had a great view of the station opposite, which was interesting for people watching. The location meant it was easy to do day trips by train, but the hotel is only a short distance from the Altstadt and interesting sights to see in Mainz.

  Disliked: The bar is small and basic.

  Adequate for a one-night stay via train

  Liked: Steps from the main station. (Although this made it loud.)

  Disliked: Had to ask to switch rooms after the first room stunk of cigarette smoke. In our new room, the A/C started dripping water in the middle of the night, so we had to open windows instead, and the street noise was loud. Staff didn't care too much the next morning. Seemed overpriced for the experience.
