Liked: The location is just few steps from the train station and very close to the old town and the castle. It is also a short walk to porcelain museum.

Liked: I was very pleased with how hospitable the owner was. The owner was very easy to coordinate with for the payment and late check-out. I had a problem with the payment method as I did not carry much cash while I was travelling, but it was very easy to solve. The place is right next to a convenience store and the train station. Everything was squeaky clean. It was very easy to get the room key.
Disliked: I got a room on the 2nd floor and quite a heavy luggage, and since the property does not have an elevator so it could be a challenge for some people. For disability access, you'll probably have to ask for rooms on the ground floor.

Liked: We had a wonderful stay at Sächsischer Hof! The hotel was charming, and Johanna was an incredibly welcoming and friendly host. Meissen is a beautiful city, and this hotel was the perfect base. Highly recommend!

Liked: Johanna was extremely patient with me when I arrived late due to bad train connections. The location, near the train station and old town, is excellent.
