  Had a very enjoyable stay and delicious breakfast on a budget. I recommend!

  Liked: a very nice breakfast selection, easy check in and check out, lovely staff, the vibe in the hostel is very nice

  Disliked: A lot of stairs up to the hostel unless there's another way to it. Be prepared to sweat a little if going by foot.

  The staff are very nice and helpful and the breakfast is rich. the price is fair

  Liked: The breakfast was amazing - many different options, including vegan options, fresh vegetables and fruit, some cooked options, cereals, joghurt.. the dining area has a nice view of the city. outdoor dining is also available (but sadly people smoke there so I ate inside)

  Disliked: very bad acoustics in the rooms and in the hallways. my neighbors were loud and kept moving furniture in the night, talking in the hallway. Also, the doors of the rooms can't be closed quietly, you have to actually slam the door for it to close from the outside, this causes additional noise. This is very unfriendly to post-trauma. But when I complained in the reception they offered me a different room in a more quiet area of the hostel.

Good to know

All guests need to be members of the DJH (German Youth Hostel Association) or Hostelling International. EUR 7 per year for German guests up to the age of 26 and EUR 27.50 for families or guests aged 27 years and above.

Each year from 1 June onwards, membership will be half price for guests purchasing a DJH membership for the first time. Foreign guests need a Hostelling International Card (EUR 18), if they are not member of a national Hostelling Federation. For single overnight stays a welcome stamp can be purchased on arrival, which costs EUR 3.50.

WIFI is available in public areas free of charge.
