  Good choice in Bad Cannstatt

  Liked: The place is next to the S Bahn, very convenient. Staff are friendly and breakfast is diverse. It worth more than the money.

  Disliked: I feel a bit hot in the summer night, but it is generally ok.

  Liked: Very kind and helpful receptionist, always ready to provide information about the city and recommend places worth visiting.

  Disliked: It would be great to have a sink inside the bathroom so people can avoid waking others who are still sleeping. When you turn on the water or just want to wash your hands at 5 a.m., the noise can be quite unpleasant.

  We didn’t sleep at the end,but we had our breakfast’s

  Liked: the guy at the receiption was very nice and explained all, location is very good, clean and fair breakfast.

  Disliked: the materas is was bad, we had to leave to go to another hotel and return in the morning to have the breakfast as we paid for it.is the most basic materast i ever came a cross

  Good overall package for a fair price

  Liked: The employee at the main desk was very customer oriented and very helpful.

  Disliked: The locker in my room was not working. My key would not open the lock. Only the general key from the mentioned employee worked.

Good to know

All guests need to be members of the DJH (German Youth Hostel Association) or Hosteling International. Membership can be purchased at the reception upon arrival.

It costs EUR 7 per year for German guests up to the age of 26 and EUR 27.50 for families or guests aged 27 and above. Each year from 01. June onwards, membership will be half price for guests purchasing a DJH membership for the first time.

Foreign guests need a Hosteling International Card (EUR 18), if they are not member of a national Hosteling Federation. For single overnight stays a welcome stamp can be purchased on arrival, which costs EUR 3.50.

WIFI is available in public areas free of charge.
