  Great location, clean room

  Liked: The hotel has a great location, and the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable.

  Disliked: There was an unpleasant smell coming from the sink. The building was undergoing renovation, and drilling started early in the morning, which was very disturbing. Water leaked out of the shower onto the bathroom floor, and the shower water was not hot enough.

  Liked: Location is good.

  Disliked: The facility is managed remotely. Check in is difficult. There was no hot water early in the morning and no one on site to address the situation.

  A hotel that fails at its most basic purpose: a good night's sleep!

  Liked: The underground bicycle parking was convenient, especially the availability of power outlets for charging e-bikes. The self-check-in process was straightforward and easy to use. My room (No. 5, a corner room) was also spacious.

  Disliked: My biggest mistake was not reading the reviews before booking. Unfortunately, many of the negative comments proved true. It's astonishing how a hotel can get so many basics wrong when its primary purpose should be to provide a comfortable night's sleep. Temperature: Our room was 27°C when we arrived, with the heating blasting warm air. Management explained that the air conditioning was disabled for winter and provided a fan instead. Opening the windows wasn't an option due to noise from nearby bars. Strangely, the cooling system finally worked on our last day. Noise: Every time someone uses a tap, shower or toilet, an incredibly loud pumping noise occurs, even from neighbouring rooms. It's extremely disruptive, especially at night. Bedding: The mattress was excessively soft, while the oversized pillows were hard as bricks. The two separate single duvets on a double bed weren't to my taste either. Curtains: The room cannot be completely darkened. Proper blackout curtains should be a basic hotel standard. Cleanliness: Although the bathroom appeared clean, my white socks turned almost black after just a few steps on the floor, suggesting inadequate mopping. Conclusion: For the price charged, this hotel offers terrible value. Nearly every aspect essential to a good night's sleep has been overlooked. To management: these recurring complaints deserve serious attention. You should be embarrassed that so many basic hospitality standards have been neglected. I certainly wouldn't stay here again.

  Travelling in Trier

  Liked: Good location near parking place and a nice cellar bar across the street. Spacious room and good bed.

  Disliked: Airconditioning was defect and it was very warm in the room. Moreover the ventilator of the toilet went on and of keeping us awake.
