  Disliked: No heaters as it was cold in 2nd week of Oct. Seems quilt and bedsheets reused without washing.

  Lovely property near Trier city centre

  Liked: Very friendly host, showed us everything around and explained where things are located and how they work. He also gave good advice about the parking that we appreciated. Property is centrally located, was spacious and had eveything we needed. There was an internal yard for our use and a bottle of wine as a welcome present. It was FIFA World cup and we were able to watch football on TV.

  Disliked: This is very personal preference, but we like firmer pillows. It is not a complaint, but a suggestion for a host that maybe he could have some extra pillow or a pair of firmer ones for those guests with similar prefernces.

  Comfortable stay with most amenities for a short stay- close to old city

  Liked: It was spacious for 4 people. It was close enough to walk to the centre. The host was usually available although we didn’t need anything. Good shower and hot water.

  Disliked: Hooks on bedroom walls and hangers would be useful. Lounge seldom used as only one settee in a large room. We suggest: exchange lounge with 3bedded room so lounge is next to dining room/ kitchen.

  Excellent apartment in Trier

  Liked: Very well equipped apartment centrally located close to the train station and old town. Extremely kind and helpful owner. Highly recommend!

  Liked: Excellent apartment a few minutes walk from the railway station and the Porta Nigra. Charlie was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

  Over rated disappointing stay. Couldn't wait to leave and would not recommend

  Liked: location to train, apartment size, 2 bedrooms and kitchen

  Disliked: it was very hot and there was no fan. I requested a fan and said too bad. they didn't seem care. so i had to open the windows, but the neighbors talked and smoked late at night directly outside the bedroom window and early in the morning so we could not keep the windows open or the smoke would come into the room!!!!! I can't believer the owner allowed this to happen. the neighbors even had a bench to smoke outside the bedroom window. very inconsiderate. beds were very hard, uncomfortable. hips hurt the next day. i did not look forward to coming back to room at night to sleep. the photos showed a washer and dryer but they had been removed. towels were very hard. couches were uncomfortable. furniture and towels looked like they were from a recycle store. these little things make a big difference.
