  Disliked: We booked three beds for three people. the third bed in the adjacent room did not have a duvet or pillow. Luckily we had something in the car to remedy the situation. There is no person on the site. The front door is kept open with people hanging out on the steps outside the front door for hours. It did not feel safe that way

  Inexpensive but very basic. Needs some love

  Liked: Close to old town. Given the price it did the job but only just.

  Disliked: Very tired. Needs upgrading. Bathroom very old and basic. I guess you get what you pay for. Might have been just about adequate for a one night stopover but 3 nights probably too much.

  Great location, comfortable beds, nice bathroom. Could use a little bit of love

  Liked: The location was excellent for reaching most of historic Weimar and the Park on foot quite easily. The beds were very comfortable, and the shower was nice. The heaters worked. Check-in was simple, instructions very clear and easy. It was also very quiet, nice for sleeping. That may not be the case during high season. For our stay, however, it was very relaxing. There were many steps to reach the top floor where our room was, but since we are fit it was no problem for us. We were under the impression that parking would be available, and it was not. We were lucky to find a nearby street spot without much trouble.

  Disliked: The bathroom was redone quite nicely, but I don't think it was done 100% correctly. The grout was not sealed around the tiles. There was also a smell coming from the drains that was unpleasant. Little touches throughout the place could have been better or more welcoming. The coffee cups and spoons were not clean. The 'white' towels were somewhat brown looking. The windows had either no or broken blinds and handles. The heaters were not very sightly and one of the doors was missing a frame. Overall it just looked a bit 'unloved'. But we were satisfied with the location and a warm place with nice beds.

  you'll have a good time if you adjust your expectations

  Liked: You get what you paid for. If you just want to sleep in the room and not spend any time inside, it's perfect. Has all the basic amenities.

  Disliked: The mattress isn't very comfortable.
