  Well-appointed room in a good location

  Liked: Room was spacious, with plenty of storage space, nicely furnished and clean. Kitchenette had a fridge, two-burner induction hob, kettle and coffee-maker, so was fine for making simple meals. Clean bathroom with good shower. Good location in a quiet neighbourhood but only about 10-15 minutes walk to the centre of Weimar. The free parking was on the street but it was easy to find a space close to the property. Off-street parking was available in the yard behind the building for 7 Euros.

  Disliked: There was a bit of confusion with the pre-booking communication. I booked a day in advance and received a message saying that I would receive an email with check-in instructions two days before the booking. So I expected to receive this email straight away, as there was only one day to the start of the booking. However, no email ever turned up, which caused a bit of stress as I didn't know what the check-in procedure was. In the end it wasn't an issue though, as on arrival I just rang the doorbell and was buzzed in.

  very good for our group's needs

  Liked: the location is perfect (close to the center and the train station), especially for also visiting the Buchenwald concentration camp. the kitchenette has everything you need. the rooms were warm

  Disliked: it was difficult to communicate with the property before arrival - only in the last couple of days it was possible. the window curtains are not big enough to cover the windows properly (so if you have problems sleeping or jet-lag it can become a bit difficult)
