Liked: Location was perfect, 5-10 mins walk to all major attractions. Weimar is a small town, so most travel will be on foot. As a female solo traveller, I feel I was well taken care of and very safe to stay at this hostel. Staff were friendly and attentive. They serve free coffee all day for all guests. Lots of individual restrooms to use, no need to wait. This is more like a home-style hostel, and you make your own bed and strip the sheets when you leave.!! One thing to notice is that the hostel is not accessible. There are lots of staircases when entering the reception or to your rooms. Everything else was perfect.

Disliked: Too many stairs and the rooms facing the street gets very nosiy in the morning.

Liked: They make sure you always have a full water jug to fill your bottle, there is always bread on the kitchen counter that you can take for free, there is a large yard outside where you can sit and have fun eating or just sitting, there is a large dining room next to the kitchen, the rooms are spacious.

Disliked: I didn't like that they asked for a deposit for the room key.

    Great location and excellent facilities

Liked: Great location. Just a fifteen minute walk (straight ahead) from the train station and no more than a ten minute stroll to the Shiller museum, Goethe house and other historic sites of interest.

Disliked: The lock for commune door I used was a little temperamental

Great central location, cozy atmosphere, with minor sound issues

Liked: The location is excellent. From the train station, you can either walk or take a bus to the city centre, and the hostel itself is right in the heart of it. From here, it’s easy to walk to all the major attractions and plenty of cafés around the city. I stayed in a single room and really enjoyed it. The overall vibe of the hostel is very cozy, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet, which I personally appreciated. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There is also a well-equipped kitchen where guests can prepare their own food, and lemon water and coffee are available for free 24 hours a day. The shared bathrooms were clean, and everything met my needs perfectly.

Disliked: Nothing comes to mind, really. If I had to mention one small thing, thicker walls would have been nice, as I could hear the guests next door quite clearly one night during my stay.
