Exceptional
Good value guesthouse
Liked: The bed was large and comfortable and it is very close to everything.
Disliked: In the end, we didn’t stay in the hotel because it was a special night for us and it felt more guest house than boutique hotel. Our room was very close (rm 1) to the kitchen/reception and also to the street. Sounds like we missed an excellent breakfast tho!
Lovely hotel in a great location
Liked: A lovely place to stay in a great location. Room was very nice, bed v comfortable and v large! Facilities to make tea and coffee and v good bathroom with toiletries. V friendly staff and a lovely breakfast, scrambled eggs made to order.
Perfect for a reasonably priced over nighter
Liked: Very friendly host. Lovely breakfast. Room was basic but comfortable. Suited us for an overnight stay. Very central location, close to harbour but in a quiet lane. Perfect for our purposes of meeting up with friends on a boat.
Disliked: All good.
Great location and great staff
Liked: Great location in Corfu town. Staff were extremely friendly and the rooms themselves were clean and well looked after. Breakfast was also decent.
Perfect for a night or two in Corfu Town. A guesthouse with character and a friendly staff
Liked: Locandeira presents itself as a guest house and a boutique vibe is exactly what you get. The hosting team were very personable, friendly and helpful (e.g. spare towel for beach while we were waiting for room to be ready, plentiful supply of bottled water, etc.). It is extremely comfortable and guest house facilities (bathroom, kitchen, breakfast and host support) are top-drawer. The breakfast here will set you up for the day. The Locandeira is perfect for a couple of nights to see Corfu Town or as a staging post when getting on or off the island.
Disliked: This would not stop me from using Locandeira again (our third time already), but if you have a guest above you with a heavy foot fall it can be a little annoying. Perhaps any intending guests reading this would bear this in mind.
Absolutely loved this place. One night stopover in Corfu Town and it was perfect although I’d have gladly stayed longer
