Exceptional
The money was not worth the I had a better view and room in Santorini and paid a lot less. Yes, it was closer to town, b
Liked: Location
Disliked: Very small. We got the private pool and paid more but couldn’t enjoy it because it was cold … we thought we got a view and in order to see the view we had to climb the pool stairs to see it
It is certainly not a four-star hotel
Liked: The property is located high above Mykonos and offers a beautiful view over the port and the Old Town, although the view is slightly obstructed by a few old utility poles.
Disliked: We booked the Junior Suite with Private Pool, the most expensive room category available, for three people. Unfortunately, the room did not match the expectations created by the photos. It is an extremely basic and rudimentary triple room, not a suite. The photos showed a different layout, including a proper sofa and a small table. In reality, the “sofa” was a mattress placed on a fixed masonry structure, there was no table and hardly any space to open our luggage. For three people, the room was not very functional. The “private pool” is extremely small, and access is via steps that become very slippery when wet, which I considered a safety risk. The bathroom and separate toilet have no proper ventilation. The lower parts of the walls showed signs of damp/mould and peeling paint, while some of the flooring was old and damaged. Access to the property is very difficult, involving an extremely steep uphill walk, something that should be clearly stated before booking. We noticed that other nearby properties provided small vehicles to transport guests up the hill, but no such service was available here. Access to our room was through a rather poorly maintained parking area with damaged concrete, where one section was also used for storing rubbish. Reception is not permanently staffed, including at night. Overall, my main concern was the difference between the photos and level of comfort suggested when booking and what we actually found on arrival. More representative photos, clear information about the steep access, and some basic maintenance and refurbishment would make a significant difference.
Not peasant stay! Very hard to climb the hill in the night, nothing close to the pictures we saw…
Liked: Not really luxurious as shown in pictures… didn’t like something in particular
Disliked: Nowhere to put out suitcases on to be able to open them… situated on a steep hill, very difficult to walk back from downtown… the first day the sheets were wet and we couldn’t lie on the bed so we didn’t get some rest… when we called the reception they didn’t even apologise…. We thought they were luxurious suites but it’s just a plain room with nothing in it, only beds…. We didn’t really like it… and it was too expensive… no swimming pool… not recommend it. It’s good only for students that they don’t care where they are staying… the wind was making the windows hit on something, thus for two nights we didn’t sleep…
I will never ever go back there
Liked: The price was low also the hotel quality
Disliked: I stayed in the room 102 Sheets were not really clean, toilet seat was broken, there was no hot water in shower it was medium, shower mixers were broken, water drainage was blocked and anytime shower with cold water it became the basin, the sink drainage was extremely dirty. Cleaning issues + maintenace
Lovely, relaxing, would stay again!
Liked: Big rooms, friendly staff, awesome shower, balcony and spa.
Disliked: Some of the other guests were a bit loud- but hat was the exception
Great stay!
Liked: The suite was spacious and very clean. I liked the friendliness of the staff.
