  Liked: Location - very central and around lots of nice restaurants and shops

  Disliked: The bathroom is tiny to the extent that you can't shower without flooding the sink and the toilet. Room is tiny as well, can't fit one open bag...

  Be warned: you get what you pay for!

  Liked: The breakfast was good: copious and reasonably priced. The location is pretty.

  Disliked: Mykonos is clearly an expensive place to stay, and at some level you have to accept that you get what you pay for. That's that main reason I'm not rating this place lower. For the price of 160 euros/night, I've never stayed in a place anywhere in Europe that wasn't superior to this. The hotel's current 8.5 rating is fantasy, and I find the large number of reviews calling it "Exceptional" without further comment quite dubious. (1) Our double room was so small that we literally had nowhere to open our suitcases without tripping over them. There was a nightstand on only one side of the bed, and no chair - or even a stool - to put your clothes on when you went to bed. The bathroom, too, was tiny, the door did not close properly, and it had no towel rails or hooks, and no shower curtain. Unless you want to get everything wet, you basically have to lather up at the sink and then carefully rinse the suds off using the handheld shower. Your towel has to be left outside until you're ready to use it. (2) The bathroom window didn't lock, which is worrying, as it gives on to a shared terrace that is accessible to non-residents at all times. (3) The hotel is right next to an open-air venue playing VERY LOUD music until 2-3am. Even with earplugs, you should not expect to get any sleep before that time. The curtain didn't close at one end, so we were woken up by the daylight around 5am. In other words, the best you can hope for is 2-3 hours' sleep. (4) To get to any of the rooms, you have to climb a very steep and narrow staircase. (For our room, there was a second staircase after that.) Even if you're perfectly fit, lugging a standard-size hold suitcase up and down those stairs is a challenge. (5) The hotel is located in a pedestrianized area.

  Liked: Hotel meraviglioso, in una posizione meravigliosa con una gestione famigliare che ci ha fatto sentire subito a casa, cosa rara in un’isola come Mykonos. Francesca e Nikolas sono stati di una gentilezza rara. Grazie di tutto, ci rivediamo… a ottobre? 😉

  Disliked: Punti di miglioramento, la forza del wi-fii che non è sempre al massimo. Per dovere di informazione, essendo al centro di Mykonos town la musica è parte dell’esperienza che ti fa sentire nell’isola anche quando sei in camera con le finestre aperte
