  Liked: Room size, friendly staff, nice bathroom and room amenities, pool, good location for ferries (close to the new port).

  Disliked: Too soft mattress, poor language skills of cleaning staff, dust and dirt at some places, torn window nets, no cutlery, glasses (only disposable cups), plates, bowls. Pool area was nice but without a bar, just a sad and almost empty vending machine. Too far from the centre without any pedestrian roads. Definitely not worth your money. Looks much better in the pictures.

  Misleading, doesn’t look like photos

  Liked: Unfortunately, there was very little about the property that we genuinely liked, as we felt the Booking.com listing was quite misleading compared with the reality of the hotel. It was particularly disappointing because I genuinely felt embarrassed after booking the property based on how it was presented online. The photographs and description created expectations that simply weren’t reflected when we arrived. It’s a real shame, as experiences like this make you question how accurately properties are represented on Booking.com and can understandably affect your trust in the platform.

  Disliked: When we arrived, we were very disappointed by the general upkeep. The property felt tired and neglected, with several things appearing as though they had not been maintained or functioning properly for a long time. There was also very little presence from hotel staff, which made the hotel feel unusually empty and unwelcoming. Our room had a persistent sewage/drain smell throughout our stay. The bathroom also had a number of issues, including a gurgling toilet, black mould on the wooden areas, and a shower floor that looked unhygienic. The room itself felt very dated and tired. The fact that the patio door had been left open when we arrived made us wonder whether the hotel was already aware of the smell. Most importantly, the property looked very different from the photographs advertised online. The photos give the impression of a much better-maintained and more inviting hotel, whereas the reality felt quite run-down and neglected. It honestly felt as though the photographs may have been taken many years ago and no longer accurately represent the current condition of the property. Overall, we arrived expecting something very different based on the listing and unfortunately felt extremely disappointed and misled by the experience.

  Disliked: A bit of a walk into the main town, only stayed one night so didn’t get to know buses so maybe we could have found different ways to travel if we were there longer
