  Our stay in this traditional family home with its huge rooftop terrace was the perfect way to begin our trip to Greece

  Liked: From the very first moment we stepped inside, the place felt warm, welcoming, and full of genuine home comfort. Panayotis, the host, gave us an incredibly warm and heartfelt welcome. He even surprised us with a bottle of wonderful local rosé and took the time to show us around the Piraeus area, sharing stories and local insights that made the whole experience even more special. We later learned that he also organizes gastronomic tours to some of the best places in Greece — and after following one of his recommendations, we completely understand why. On his advice we visited Ψαρόσκαλα, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip: amazingly fresh seafood, great wine, live music, friendly staff, and a vibrant atmosphere with a full house of locals enjoying the evening. Definitely book a table in advance — you won’t regret it. Even on our last day, he kindly offered to drive us to the port and made sure we didn’t leave Greece without proper guidance on how to find great local ouzo 😉 A big thank you to Panayotis and his family. Thanks to you, we felt like locals from the very first days of our stay — and that wonderful feeling is still with us 🫶
