  Liked: The apartment is fancy and very clean. All utilities are available. Balcony has amazing size and view. Fast internet is available The property manager is a nice lady and she was very helpful.

  A silent penthouse with some compromises

  Liked: Location: just steps from Pasalimani, walking distance to everything important in Piraeus, yet incredibly quiet and peaceful. Sunshine: the SW terrace gets sunshine all day long when the sun shines. Silence: although central in Piraeus, the apartment is mid-block, at quiet small streets and high up, so it’s really amazingly silent, a very good place to sleep.

  Disliked: It’s certainly not four star for the quality of the interior. The bathroom needs urgent repair, many things like the faucet, toilet seat, the ceiling, furniture, are in a quite horrible state. The communication with the host was the worst I have experienced at Booking: asked about the chances of storing your bag a couple of hours before check in time, not only did they say no, they did it in such a rude way that I would have cancelled right away if it had been possible. It felt like they hated their customers.

  Poor value for money

  Liked: Location is top. Near to all places of interest

  Disliked: Apartment wasn’t clean. Wardrobe was dusty and I had to clean it myself in order to use it. Kitchen utensils partly old and overused or not available such as teaspoons. Bathroom hygiene was poor too. Mattress was old and very hard and uncomfortable.

  Comfy stay

  Liked: •Apartment was clean •Had good cooking utensils •Good necessities such as (Washing powder, Iron, hairdryer) •Good location, close to beach and all the shops •Air conditioning in every room which is very necessary in this hot weather •Apartment was spacious

  Disliked: •Insects in the apartment, such as ants •Toxic mold in toilet above the sink cabinet •Balcony view doesn’t look as nice as in the pictures •Sun-beds on the balcony were really dirty covered all in brown and yellow marks, also the feet carpet for the bathroom was dirty and worn out

  Not quite what we expected

  Liked: The location suited me perfectly as we have family living on the same street, the outside space being a top floor was also very appealing

  Disliked: The cleanliness particularly in the bathroom were not at the standard I expected and the sanitary ware and tiles were mouldy and broken. The lift was decommissioned for health and safety reasons during our stay and we had to find alternative accommodation as my husband has knee problems and couldn’t manage five flights of stairs.
