  Will be returning here

  Liked: When we visited Greece recently, for a wedding on Hydra, we stayed at Faros I. The plan was one night before taking a ferry to Hydra. Strong winds intervened, and we couldn't get to the island. It left us with a problem of no accomodation for the next three (weekend) nights. I spoke to Natalia and Juli at the front desk. Although they were fully booked, they upgraded some of their arrivals to sister hotels, then rearranged rooms to allow us all to stay in our four rooms. They also gave us a great price. Exceptional empathy and customer service. The hotel itself is great value with everything we needed. A top location for ferrys, and metro links to Athens and direct metro from/to the airport for €9. The staff were (like all Greeks) very friendly, personable, helpful and gave us some great advice for local bars, restaurants, shops. One final note, If you order the set breakfast, it's huge, enough food to feed a family (LOL). We will definetly be returning to this hotel.

  Disappointing staff, extremely hard and uncomfortable beds

  Disliked: This was a clean, nearly empty hotel, but unfortunately this hotel had mattresses that were harder than I’ve ever felt in my life. It was equivalent to sleeping on a floor. I have a neck injury that made sleeping on something this hard impossible for me. The staff kept giving me different information as to who was responsible for a refund and even told me to come back the next day to speak to who was in charge, only for them to say again that they have no idea where he is and there’s nothing they can do. They made no effort to make this right since I didn’t “expressly state this as a condition I have” upon booking, although I have never had to express this in years of travel because I haven never encountered a bed this hard.

  Liked: We loved all the amenities in the room. Slippers coffee maker coffee and toiletries. Plenty of space for our two larger bags. And a lot of nooks and crannies to store items. I love the great service on getting our taxi at 3 in the morning. for an early flight. Very friendly and helpful staff.

  Disliked: Nothing we didnt like.

  Great and helpful staff, who go 110% to ensure guests needs are met

  Liked: We had originally booked hotel for a single night as we were going to Hydra on the Friday for a family wedding. Unfortunately, due to weather conditions all ferries to Hydra were cancelled, resulting in us needing to arrange accommodation for 3 nights. We spoke to the reception staff who went above and beyond, to facilitate us in the Hotel and ensuring we could stay in the same rooms, reducing any further disruption on our behalf.

  Disliked: Area area can be a bit noisy at night due to a number of bars in the area. However it didn't disturb us too much.

  Lovely place to stay

  I recommend this for a stop-over as it is handy for the cruise terminal
