  DO NOT STAY HERE

Disliked: This was a disaster. We arrived in the early hours of the morning, around 01:30. We checked prior to arrival that we would be able to access the property. The code for the main entrance was broken, and we could not access the building. There is an adults club across the road, and whilst trying to contact the owner, we were approached by people from this club. We were uncomfortable so began to walk away, and we then followed by people from the club. We found a nearby hotel who let us sit in reception whilst we contacted the owner. The owner told us he would be 40 minutes and would come to unlock the door. We were appalled, as you cannot expect people to wait on the street for 40 minutes - at 01:50, in a foreign country, with suitcases. We then told them we would find alternative accommodation as we had been harassed, followed and no longer felt safe in the area. We found another accommodation and had arrived there. At 02:30 I received a text to say the door was open. I contacted booking.com who told me the owner was refusing refund for our experience. I read other reviews from recent stays who said the door didn’t work for them either. Do not stay here, and I recommend avoiding booking.com whilst you’re at it as they have been completely useless.

Liked: Perfect location for the dock, Hosts were extremely helpful and responded to all messages very promptly.

Disliked: This property unfortunately backed onto a very noisy club so zero sleep on top of extremely early pick up 😴
